Rip google; Google discovers Russian backed adds on it's Youtube, Gmail and search products

Report getting to google now has it that Russians spent tens of thousands of dollar to advertise with them during the last concluded presidential race in America to influence victory. Google keen to monitoring any act that may be perpetrated form their platform to ensure the credibility of the election. This was not as the Russians made an impact towards trump's victory. The Street reports that the act was internationally motivated but fueled through the aid of their hackers.
Google's online advertising business is the largest in the world, while its YouTube product is the world's biggest online video site. The company had previously downplayed the possibility of Russian interference but still launched an investigation into the matter.
Google officials are expected to testify alongside leaders from Facebook and Twitter before the House and Senate intelligence committees Nov. 1. Congress has started multiple investigations into the possibility of Russian interference aimed at swaying the 2016 presidential election in favor of President Donald Trump.

Google's disclosure comes after Facebook last week said about 10 million people saw Russian-backed political ads on its site. Twitter Inc. (TWTR - Get Report) also disclosed that Russian entities bought ads and had accounts on its platform.
